Michael at Medieval Times - 5 years old

Our first visit to Medieval Times was to celebrate Michael's birthday.   It was January 1988!  Such a handsome little guy.  In our family, we celebrate the entire month.  We do know that Roy and Brenna were at another activity that night.  It was just me, Michael and Heather at this party.  I think Michael recently went back with his family, I will have to see if he had his picture taken with the King.

Way Back Wednesday - Michael 1st Grade

So, I have decided that the perfect way to "catch up" with my scrapbooking is to declare Wednesday as "Way Back Wednesday" and have a "Throwback Thusday" too!  Here the focus is on Michael when he was in first grade at Cabrillo Elementary!  He has quite a few long time friends from these days.  It seems like only yesterday that these pictures were taken

I can't believe that it's been 24-years since this photo was taken!  Don't they look so sweet?  It's fun to hear their stories of what they did to each other back then to drive each other and their sister Heather crazy!  Where did the time go?  Michael is going to be 28-years old in a couple of days and Brenna is just a few years older.  It seems like only yesterday we were all living in the house on Silverwood.  Our days were never empty and neither was our home!  There are times I miss those good old days and I just go revisit those moments through my scrapbooks.  I'm thankful for all the memories we have made as a family.

Michael's 10th Birthday!

Michael had his 10th birthday party at a place in Chino (no longer there) where kids could run around, go down slides and just become very smelly! LOL! In fact, we had to drive home with the windows open (I do remember that). A great group of his friends were there to help him celebrate. Brenna and Lindsey Russell also attended - I don't have a picture of Michael Russell but I bet he was there!
