Visit to the Banyan Tree

When I think of Lahaina, I think of the the Banyan Tree. It is one of the most amazing trees in the world. It was planted in 1873 and has been maintained throughout the years. It still provides the shade needed during those hot days. In the early evening, you can hear the birds settling down for the night. When you go to Maui, if you miss the Banyan Tree, then you've missed a piece of Maui's history.
