My Girls - November 2012

Looking at this photo, you might think it is spring or summer but it is November!  I love those times when all of my family is together!  Thanksgiving was the reason for this gathering of the clan!  We just celebrated Heather and Alex's wedding reception the week before and we were so lucky to have more fun times together.  Melanie and Isabel do enjoy each other's company and I love to see them together.  

Perfect View

This is what I consider a perfect view!  These photos were taken from the balcony of our room in Pismo Beach and yes that seagull was that close!  We thought he wanted to come on in and enjoy a glass of wine! I think I need a magnifying glass, I know that is Ron waving from his balcony and I think that is Brenda Sharp behind him.  Where is Sharon hahah!

Relaxing in Pismo!

Shore Cliff Lodge in Pismo Beach is one of our favorite places to stay when we are in the area!  So relaxing, so pretty and the perfect jumping off spot for winery visits!  Looking forward to our next stay (which will be in the off season lol)

Papa's Girls

I was so thrilled to receive this photo of Roy and our granddaughters, Melanie and Isabel from Steve Sharp!  We were at Ron and Sharon's holiday party when Brenna called to let us know they were here from North Carolina!  We raced up to the house and brought Isabel back to party with the group.  The girls just love their Papa and he loves them so very much.  

On this layout, I used paper from Close to My. Heart's "Laughing Lola" kit.

Day 26 part 2 Santa Cruz

Day 26 and I am continuing with page two of our Santa Cruz Mountain day trip.  We visited the Loma Prieta Winery.  This was such a drive up into the mountains, such a great view of the coast from up here.  Thank goodness that in the background in Roy's picture I could see the name of the winery!

A hidden jewel of a winery is located in the Santa Cruz Mountains, David Bruce winery!  The boys scored a great deal of wine!  We then continued on to make a few more great discoveries.  It was a most enjoyable day,

Kelsey Winery Fun

It is January 23rd and this is my 23rd entry for the month!  I love the photo ops I find on our little trips!  But, most importantly is that I can get everyone to participate (for the most part)!  This is just an example of some of the things we do!  This is a great little winery up near Avila Beach, lovely grounds and just one of the cutest little winery dog on the property too!

Jenkins and Horacek's on the Go

November 2013 - furlough week and Thanksgiving Holiday!  We made the most of it....headed up to Oxnard for trip to one of our favorite wine cellars - Plan B...I will have to tell you the story of how we found that place and one of our new discoveries - Broken Earth in Paso Robles.  It is so much fun to discover new places for wine.   We all enjoy our trips to the many wineries in California......looking forward to discovering more!
