Rudy's favorite activity at our house is dancing to the Damce Party Wii games!  He is very good and does have his favorites!  This one is done to the song, " Moves like Jagger!"  Here is a warning though, you will have to dance too!

Page two!  Earlier, when they were having snowy weather in North Carolina, I asked Rudy to let 
 His mom take a picture of him outside he told me it was too cold! Well, I finally have some photos of them outside!   Thank you Brenna for sharing,!  I know they will appreciate this when they are older,

So, I always see great layouts centered around snow and think "rats, I don't have any snow pictures." Well, thanks to Brenna and the snowy weather of North Carolina, I have finally scrapbook end my grandchildren in snowy weather!  I will be looking for another photo to add to this page, but I love this picture Brenna took.  This is Isabel and Rudy exploring the snow in their backyard!  I am thinking of printing this in black and white.  

Carlos n Charlie - Cancun

It isn't called Party Center because it is a quiet place!  We stopped in for some Happy Hour refreshments and some fun ,  look at the size of the beers and the cucaracha lol!  The servers at this place know how to create some laughs.  Our vacation is winding down and it will be on to new adventures with friends and family.

Family Zoo Trip

It is December 2013, it is winter break,  a beautiful Southern California day, so why not go to the zoo!  We were missing Heather when this was taken but we will catch up with her later.  It was a great day!

Brenna's Disneyland Day with Friends

Brenna's favorite place to be is any of the Disney Parks!  I didn't have the year listed but I am pretty sure this is after boot camp and I bet the girls are celebrating her birthday!  Brenna and Charlene have been friends since elementary school and have often been asked if they are sisters.  I will let her complete the listing of her friends when she is home.  Brenna is my subject for the day since it is her birthday!

Isabel - 2011

I am just enjoying staring at the picture of my granddaughter, Isabel!  The year was 2011, which means she is six years old.  What a wonderful smile and I love the hand on the hip.  She is ready for the red carpet!  

Isabel and Rudy - Christmas 2013

I just love this photo of Isabel and Little Rudy!  It's Christmas 2013 and this is the Christmas card Brenna sent to us!  I have to tell you that Brenna made Isabel's dress and Little Rudy's matching tie!  She is awesome!!  I sure do miss them but so excited that they will be moving back to California this coming Spring!  

California State Fair 2004~ Brenna

Brenna has always marched to her own drummer.  This is summer of 2004 and she is participating in a skate expo at the California State Fair in Sacramento!  What a great time she and I had that weekend.  We took the Scion on its first road trip and experienced this fair for the first time!  Keep coming back for more!

My Girls - November 2012

Looking at this photo, you might think it is spring or summer but it is November!  I love those times when all of my family is together!  Thanksgiving was the reason for this gathering of the clan!  We just celebrated Heather and Alex's wedding reception the week before and we were so lucky to have more fun times together.  Melanie and Isabel do enjoy each other's company and I love to see them together.  

Beach Day - Ramos Family 2011

It's a good thing Brenna and her family still live close to an ocean!  They all love the water so much!  It was a great day in North Carolina!

Having Fun on the Boardwalk

Just a few shots of the kids and Roy on the Boardwalk.  I love the photo of them walking "away" from me; I think I will have that one printed in black & white.  Did I tell you that there is a man-made lake there?  You can rent paddle boats and feed the fish (wait until you see the photos I have of that....) Having a playground on the premises is such a great idea!  The little ones can play (with one grown-up watching them) and the others can shop!

Just a few photos of me and Roy hanging out the Isabel and Rudy at the museum.  We were kept quite busy during our visit there but enjoyed every minute of it.  We sure do miss the Ramos Family and we are looking forward to our next visit.  I think the next time, we will most likely visit the Childrens/ Museum in Wilmington.  It's just a tad bit closer to their home.

Dinner With the Ramos' Family

One of our evening meals found us at the local Mexican restaurant. It really isn't that far from Brenna and Rudy's home! So, here we are eating the usual Mexican fare and what does Isabel eat? That's right....macaroni and cheese! Though she did enjoy the churro. Look at the picture of Brenna and Rudy; doesn't it look like she either is wearing large hair rollers but it was just a "lucky" shot! Sometimes, I am pretty clever! It was a great evening and actually not bad Mexican food for North Carolina!

The Boardwalk at Myrtle Beach

October 2010, we were so lucky to be visiting our family in North Carolina! We took a trip down to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and spent a few days there. Here we are on the boardwalk! Brenna, Little Rudy, Isabel and me! I love how the beaches look on the East Coast; the grass growing through the sand. There was a restaurant on the boardwalk that was offering a great deal on Long Island Ice Teas! I suggested that they leave me there and pick me up later! But, we headed on to other shopping adventures this day! I think going to the Carolinas in October is the best! The weather was perfect.

Last Night in North Carolina

Our last evening in North Carolina we enjoyed a fireworks show put on my Rudy! We had stopped at a fireworks stand in South Carolina where Roy and Brenna picked up a stash of fireworks (legal to buy there). Since they live out in the country, we were treated to our own pyrotechnic display! Look at Little Rudy's face. Their faces are as bright as the fireworks! Thank you my North Carolina family for a great evening!

Isabel at the Children's Museum

We spent a lovely morning at the Children's Museum in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina during our recent visit with Brenna and family. While we were there, the museum staff had a class on dinosaurs for the children. After the story and question/answer period, they were able to make headpieces representing the "horn" of this dinosaur. It was a real treat to spend this time with Isabel.

Let's Play in the Rain

What little boy doesn't like playing in the rain or in the puddles left by rain? Little Rudy was enjoying his new "hot tub" created by the 20-inches of rain during a three-day period in North Carolina! It sure was a moment Roy and I were glad to see. He didn't want to come back into the house and the water was cold! LOL...I love how he finds enjoyment in the simplest things...oh to be a kid again!
