Rock Climbing-Melanie

  The Scrap Our Stash blog provides the inspiration and my supply of scrapping supplies are put to good use! The challenge here was to use different items.  I chose to use ribbon, sequins, journal card and numbers. You can see the numbers in the Day Pass sticker.  This is Melanie on her trip to Joshua Tree doing some rock climbing!

Central Coast Winery Visits

Spring break of 2014 found us heading up to one of our favorite spots in California.  We headed up the coast with Ron and Sharon and met up with Brenda and Steve for a few days of visiting and enjoying the great wines of the area.  Thanks to another blogsite, "Scrap our Stash," for the inspiration - designed by Brenda Ragsdale.  I used my Close to My Heart Pathfinding kit and embellishments I know I have had for years!  

Family Traditions

My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving!  I love cooking the meal and sharing it with family and friends!  We had a full house of Jenkins',  Boroquez's,  Gavigan's, Taquino's and of course my mom and Auntie Ro.  I am looking forward to Thanksgiving 2014!  Who wants to come?

Diane and Paula 2013

Paula and I have been friends for almost 35 years!  She is one of my sisters from another mister!  We have gone through so much together.  This past summer, we were able to spend time together .  What began as an almost sad period, ended up being a story with a happy ending.  I love you Paula!

Upland High School Drill Team

One of my favorite activities in high school was being a member of the drill team!  It was exciting as a parent to participate as a parent when Heather was a member!  Some of the differences were she participated in field shows, where we had parades.  I can still remember our routine.  Great fun and wonderful memories for the both of us!

What a wonderful day for Heather and Alex!  So many smiling faces surrounding them!  It was a chilly day but it was a heartwarming ceremony.

The morning of the wedding, Brenna hosted a breakfast for all of us!  It was quite a bounty of yummy food!  It was a great time for the Jenkins' group to be together!

We are so lucky that Cristina was there to help with Heather's hair for her big day!  We all enjoyed the morning festivities in Heather's room!  Wait until you see the spread that Brenna provided for everyone!  This was the start of a outstanding day for the Jenkins' family!

Rudy's favorite activity at our house is dancing to the Damce Party Wii games!  He is very good and does have his favorites!  This one is done to the song, " Moves like Jagger!"  Here is a warning though, you will have to dance too!

Heather and Sharon Creating Centerpieces

For Heather's wedding reception, she came up with the idea of using succulents in her center pieces. And we were so lucky to have Sharon come over to help us.  She is a great friend and we were able to put these together in a couple of hours!  They were so beautiful on the tables!
